Fedor Chalov has returned to Greece, just a few days after undergoing surgery in London for a torn outer meniscus he sustained during PAOK’s preseason training.

The Russian forward was particularly unlucky in PAOK’s first friendly match against Beveren, as he was forced to leave the game injured in the 79th minute. Examinations revealed a serious knee injury, and the player underwent surgery.

After a four-day stay in England, Chalov returned to Thessaloniki, where he is now continuing his rehabilitation program. His daily routine includes simple exercises, stretching, and ice therapy, with the goal of gradually improving his condition.

In a post on his personal Telegram account, the PAOK forward provided an update on his recovery and thanked everyone who sent him messages of support.

“I’m back in Greece. The trip went very well, and now I’ve started my daily routine at home: simple exercises repeated every day, stretching, ice therapy, and back to square one,” he said initially.

Tsalov admitted that his improvement is still limited, but he emphasized that the pain is gradually subsiding.

“For now, the improvement is barely noticeable, but the pain is decreasing day by day, and that’s what matters most. We’re keeping at it,” he noted.

At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the support he has received from the PAOK community and the people who stand by him.

“Thank you all for your support and kind wishes,” he wrote.
