The match against the Netherlands left the German national team with quite a few problems.
Jürgen Klopp’s debut as head coach of the national team was not ideal, as the Germans conceded an equalizer to the Netherlands in stoppage time, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
In addition to dropping two points in the closing moments of the match, Germany also lost two key players to injury. Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz suffered muscle injuries, prompting them to return immediately to their clubs to begin a rehabilitation program. As a result, neither player will continue to participate in this international break.
According to reports, Florian Wirz and Jonathan Burkardt are set to replace them. The two players are expected to join the German national team immediately for their upcoming matches. It should be noted that these players had already been called up by Klopp, as they were among the 44 players selected by the German coach, but they were expected to play in the last two matches of the international window.
