Juventus took the first official step toward signing Joshua Zirkzee by submitting an offer to Manchester United for the Dutch forward.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the “Bianconeri” have proposed a loan deal for the 25-year-old forward at a cost of approximately 2.5 million euros, with a purchase option of up to 30 million euros.
Discussions between the two clubs have now entered a more substantive phase, though there is still a discrepancy regarding the financial terms of the deal. Manchester United is reportedly demanding a total package of approximately 35 million euros, including both the loan fee and the future purchase price.
Zirkze has been playing for Manchester United since the summer of 2024, when he was acquired from Bologna. This season, he has made 26 appearances in all competitions, with two goals and one assist, while his contract with the English club runs through the summer of 2029.
The Dutch international is very familiar with the Italian league from his time at Bologna and Parma, a factor that makes him particularly attractive to Juventus. Now, attention turns to the upcoming talks between the two clubs and whether they can bridge the financial gap to move the transfer forward.
