Manu García's big return to Aris is official!
The Spanish attacking midfielder signed a three-year contract, returning to Thessaloniki after previously playing for the team from 2022 to 2025. After completing the necessary medical exams, the 28-year-old star was officially announced by the club, continuing a relationship that had left a lasting impression: 63 appearances, 9 goals, and 7 assists across all competitions.
Garcia now returns a more mature player, ready to bolster Aris’s creativity and attacking play in the new season.
The announcement from Aris FC:
Manu Garcia is here! The 28-year-old Spanish international midfielder has returned to Kleanthis Vikelides Stadium after 1.5 years and will once again wear the ARIS jersey.
Aris FC announces the signing of Manuel Garcia Alonso—his full name—who has signed a three-year contract.
Manu Garcia, who previously played for Sporting Kansas City, was born on January 2, 1998, in Oviedo, Spain, and during his first stint with our team (July 2022–February 2025), he recorded 63 appearances, 9 goals, and 7 assists across all competitions.
After signing his new contract, Manu Garcia told our team’s official website:
“I’m happy to be back here. Both I and the team wanted this. Mr. Karipidis played an important role in my return to ARIS.
As I mentioned in my remarks at the airport, over the past few days I’ve received many messages of love from the team’s fans, and that has filled me with great joy. And I’d like to thank them once again.
Just as I did the first time, I will continue to give my very best to help my team have a great season and ultimately achieve our goals.”
