Aston Villa announced the completion of its most expensive transfer ever!

The English club has officially confirmed the signing of Johan Manzabi, a 20-year-old Swiss midfielder who impressed with his performances at this year’s World Cup!

Aston Villa shelled out 60 million euros (with an additional 10 million expected to be paid as bonuses) to acquire him from Freiburg, a sum that makes this transfer the most expensive in the club’s history, second only to that of Amadou Onana, for whom the club paid 58 million euros in 2024.
