The focus is on Leandro Paredes, who was shown a red card for violent conduct following a confrontation with Spanish players, including Eric García and Gavi.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Nahuel Molina attempted to push Rodri to the ground, while the Manchester City midfielder was celebrating winning the trophy; there is also talk of a move by Argentina’s assistant coach, Roberto Ayala, toward Dani Olmo.
Tensions peaked during the award ceremony, as the entire Argentine squad turned their backs just as Spain was lifting the World Cup.
