Yahav Gurfinkel is no longer with AEK, as the two sides decided to end their partnership early. The Israeli left back’s brief stint with the “yellow-and-greens” did not go as expected.
The player’s agent, Gikland Katsav, appeared on “5 Air” and spoke openly about the termination of the contract, even describing the decision to transfer to the Larnaca team as a mistake.

“We made the decision to terminate Yahav’s contract in Larnaca. His transfer there was a mistake,” Katsav stated, while also speaking highly of the player’s athletic abilities.
The 27-year-old defender’s agent highlighted the player’s previous two-year stint in China and emphasized that the fact he is now a free agent is a significant advantage: “He’s an outstanding left back, and after two great years in China, being a free agent following the close of the transfer window is a major advantage moving forward.”
