Monaco will find out by tomorrow, Thursday, whether it will compete in the professional leagues and the EuroCup or be left out of the picture.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the team held a meeting with the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), during which it presented its budget for next season.

The Principality’s team presented a budget of approximately 6–7 million euros, which is also higher than that of Saint-Quentin (a leading contender to take its place in the LNBA), which stands at 4 million euros.
Monaco states that it has now settled its past financial obligations and is essentially debt-free; therefore, it argues that there is no reason to uphold the initial decision to exclude the team from professional competitions.
Monaco’s attorney spoke on Tuesday following the hearing and explained the club’s situation. “We presented the financial situation of AS Monaco Basket with complete transparency. It is now a club that has no systemic debts and whose financial position has been stabilized. Even without taking these financial guarantees into account—which are required of us solely because of the club’s past and not because of its current restructured situation— AS Monaco Basket is ready for the Betclic Elite, with controlled payroll costs,” he said.
