A report in Greece highlights Noa’s interest in Tasos Hatzigiovanis, who plays for Omonia.
According to “sportal.gr,” the Armenian club has set its sights on the 29-year-old winger as it seeks to strengthen its attacking wings. In fact, as reported, Noah has already made its first move toward Omonia, though no agreement has been reached yet.
Hatzigiannis is high on the Armenians’ list, with Pablo García familiar with the player from his time in the Stoiximan Super League. The possibility remains open that Noa will return with a new offer.
What the report says
Noa’s interest in Tasos Hatzigiannis has come to the forefront, with the Armenian club having approached Omonia to sign the 29-year-old winger.
Noa is looking to strengthen its wings, and Hatzigiovanis is high on its list; however, its initial move was unsuccessful. The possibility remains open that they will return with a new offer, while according to reports, another team is also interested.
“Noa has been knocking on Omonia’s door these past few days, and the reason was Tasos Hatzigiannis. Pablo García’s team was in the market for a winger, and the 29-year-old was one of the Armenians’ top choices. The Uruguayan, after all, knows him from the Stoiximan Super League.
Noa, which was eliminated this year in the third qualifying round of the Conference League—bringing its European campaign to a premature end—is looking for another winger. Hatzigiovanis is high on their list, but their first attempt fell through.
It remains to be seen whether the Armenians will make another move, while there is reportedly another suitor, according to reports circulating in Cyprus. It’s worth noting that Hatzigiannis remained on the bench during the Cypriot champions’ commanding 4-1 victory over Aris Limassol. Overall, his role isn’t what most would expect, although he has already made six appearances this season. However, he has started only two matches and hasn’t played the full 90 minutes in any of them.
The Mytilene-born winger began his career with Panathinaikos, with whom he won a Cup in 2022, followed by stints with Ankaragücü, Eyüpspor, and Asteras AKTOR. Last year in Cyprus, he celebrated winning the league title with Omonia, wearing the “clover” jersey.
