PAOK is now following Anderlecht’s lead, with the Double-Headed Eagle’s players continuing their training on Monday morning (August 10) at the Nea Mesimvria training facility ahead of the big rematch in Belgium.
Alessio Lisi’s squad is preparing for Thursday’s match (August 13, 9:30 p.m.) at “Lotto Park,” with the training schedule covering several areas.
The players began with a warm-up and passing drills, then worked on offensive set plays. This was followed by drills focusing on both defensive and offensive tactics, and the session concluded with an intra-squad scrimmage.
On the injury front, Ali and Despodov continued with individual training programs, which included running on the field. For his part, Meité remained on a rehabilitation program.
PAOK’s preseason training will resume on Tuesday morning (August 11), with the next practice scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in Nea Mesimvria.
