Keenan Evans appears ready to don the Zalgiris Kaunas jersey once again. According to reports by Spanish journalist Chema De Lucas, the two sides are close to agreeing on a 1+1-year contract.
The same report states that the 29-year-old American guard is expected to be loaned to the London Lions for the upcoming season, in order to gradually return to full competitive form.
Evans had stood out in the EuroLeague with the Lithuanian team before moving to Olympiacos. His time with the “Red-and-Whites,” however, was marked by serious injuries, which prevented him from contributing as much as he could on the court.
In his final season with Zalgiris, in 2023–24, he averaged 17.3 points and 3.9 assists, shooting 43.5% from three-point range.
BREAKING: Keenan Evans is set to return to Zalgiris. He has signed a 1+1 contract and will be loaned to the London Lions with an option to buy during the season.
