ALPHANEWSLIVE

Levante and Sevilla made a spectacular return to competitive action following the international break, with both teams thrilling the crowd in a match that seemed to go on forever. The final 3-3 score earned each team a point in the 8th round of La Liga.

Sevilla looked set to seal the win, as, with a stellar performance, they seemed like the team that would easily take all three points, going up 2-0. In the 13th minute, Oure opened the scoring, making it 1-0. The Andalusians continued to press, and in the 54th minute, they doubled their lead when Andrade made it 2-0.

Levante, however, didn’t give up and quickly cut the lead to 2-1, with Romero also getting his name on the scoreboard in the 57th minute, reigniting the match.

In stoppage time, specifically in the 90+2nd minute, Della equalized to make it 2-2 with a spectacular shot from outside the box, as Levante came back from the brink of defeat and set the final minutes of the match ablaze.

Sevilla continued to press, determined to secure the win, and in the 90+5’ mark, Romero put his team back in the lead, making it 3-2. However, the same player was sent off in the 90+6th minute after receiving a second yellow card, leaving Sevilla with ten men in a dramatic finale.

Even then, Levante didn’t give up hope. In the 90+10th minute, Eduke struck again, tying the score at 3-3 and sending the stands into a frenzy. A finale straight out of a soccer thriller, keeping the suspense alive until the very last second.
