Here’s what he said in detail

On planning: “We’re satisfied with the planning so far. A lot of work has been done, but we believe we still need four to five players to complete the roster. We expect one or two announcements in the coming days and hope that the ongoing negotiations will move forward.”

On the “fear” of a transfer falling through: “This is when the managers’ skills come into play. There are quite a few negotiations underway, demands are constantly changing, and we need to be patient until the deals are finalized. It’s a period that calls for sound decisions and a level head.”

On whether the team will build on last year’s performance: “The second half of last season was perhaps the best run Omonia Aradippou has ever had in the First Division. The team showed character and consistency on the field and proved that it can hold its own at the highest level. That is the foundation on which we want to build this new season.”

On the Anang situation: “With Anang, the situation is heading for a breakdown. Please allow me not to elaborate further, as there will soon be an official announcement from the team.”

Goal to finalize the roster before Kyperounta: “The team wants to have largely finalized its plans before departing for the main phase of preseason training.”

He then added, “We want the roster finalized by August 3, when we’ll be heading to Kyperounta. It’s important for the coach to have all the players at his disposal so he can work with them during the main phase of preseason training and build the necessary team cohesion.”

Regarding season tickets: “The fans can help us significantly by purchasing season tickets. Just as we did last year, we’re trying to generate some additional revenue this year so that we can properly carry out our plans and provide the coaching staff with everything they need.”

Regarding players on loan: “It’s still early. We expect that around August 10–12, more options will start to emerge. These players are currently training with their respective teams, and by the time they arrive, they’ll already be in good competitive shape, which is important to us.”

Regarding the club’s efforts to integrate young players: “Two more young players have signed professional contracts with our team. They are Andreas Pattoulos and Giorgos Hatzigiannis. They are promising young players, and we are demonstrating through our actions that we believe in our youth academies and want to give opportunities to our own players.”
