The Cyprus Tennis Federation, through its Padel Committee, is delighted and proud to extend its warmest congratulations to the Cyprus National Junior Team for its outstanding performance at the 2026 FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup, which took place in Porto, Portugal, from June 27 to July 4.
This year’s tournament will go down in the history of Cypriot padel, as our national team achieved its first victory in a European competition, defeating Moldova with a score of 2-1. This is a significant milestone that confirms the continuous progress and dynamic growth of the sport in Cyprus.
Facing 18 countries with a long tradition and a much larger pool of athletes, our young athletes competed with passion, fighting spirit, and exceptional sportsmanship, gaining valuable experience that will help them as they continue their athletic careers.
