Olympiacos announced the signing of Remo Froiler. The Swiss international, who has been in Greece since the weekend, passed his medical exams and signed his contract.
Froiler is the first move made by the Piraeus club following the decision to retain José Luis Medilibar and strengthen the team.

“Olympiacos FC announces the signing of Swiss international midfielder Remo Froiler. Born on April 15, 1992, he comes from Bologna, for whom he made 123 appearances over the past three years, 40 of which came during the season just concluded.
In the 2022–2023 season, he played for Nottingham Forest (33 appearances), while from 2016 through 2022 he made 260 appearances for Atalanta, scoring 21 goals and providing 23 assists.
He began his career at the Winterthur academy, continued with GC Zurich U21, and went on to play for Grasshoppers, Winterthur’s first team, and Luzern.
Froyler has made 301 appearances in Serie A, 28 in the Champions League, 24 in the Europa League, and 28 in the Premier League. He has played 94 times for the Swiss national team and scored 11 goals.
