Rafinha’s condition appears to be less concerning than it initially seemed, as the medical tests he underwent after returning to Barcelona did not reveal any serious injury.
The Brazilian winger had left his national team’s friendly match against Australia after feeling discomfort in his right thigh. For this reason, he returned to Spain early to be examined by Barcelona’s medical staff.
The new tests revealed that it is a minor muscle swelling, with nothing to cause particular concern. As a result, Rafinha has a good chance of being ready for the “Blaugrana’s” match against Getafe on October 10.
In any case, Barcelona officials will be closely monitoring his condition over the next few days to ensure that the discomfort has completely subsided.
