Konstantinos Tzolakis’s journey in the Premier League got off to a truly spectacular start!
On Saturday afternoon (August 22), the 23-year-old international goalkeeper put on an amazing performance in Hull City’s home game against Manchester United, playing a huge part in helping his team secure a 2-0 victory!
The former Olympiacos goalkeeper was a "wall" between the posts for the "Tigers," making five saves, two of which came on one-on-ones with Emboo! In fact, he managed to keep United off the board, even though Michael Carrick’s team had an expected goals (xG) of 1.78!
This outstanding performance earned him the MVP award for the match, with the Premier League announcing the results, as he garnered 28% of the votes for the Most Valuable Player award!
