The Cyprus Volleyball Federation held a meeting with the Cyprus Sports Organization as part of the developments regarding the transfer of the “Spyros Kyprianou” Sports Center to Maccabi Tel Aviv. The meeting took place following the Federation’s previous announcement on this matter.
During the meeting, the concerns and needs of the teams affected by this development were discussed, with KOPE acknowledging the institutional role and responsibility of KOA as the body responsible for managing the sports center.

KOPE and KOA are continuing their dialogue and cooperation, with the aim of finding a practical and mutually acceptable solution. The Federation emphasizes the importance of cooperation and goodwill on the part of all parties involved, for the benefit of sports and Cyprus.

“Following our previous announcement regarding the use of the ‘Spyros Kyprianou’ Sports Center, the Cyprus Volleyball Federation wishes to inform you that a meeting was held with the Cyprus Sports Organization regarding this specific issue.
The CFF recognizes the institutional role and responsibility of the CSA as the competent authority for the management of the “Spyros Kyprianou” Sports Center and expresses its support for the efforts being made to manage a particularly complex issue in a manner that takes all parties involved into account.
During the meeting, the concerns that have arisen were discussed, as well as the needs of all the teams affected by this development.
The Cyprus Volleyball Federation, in collaboration with the Cyprus Olympic Committee (KOA), is making every effort to find a practical and mutually acceptable solution.
The CFF believes that through dialogue, cooperation, and goodwill on the part of all involved, the best possible solution can be found for the benefit of sports and Cyprus.
The Federation will continue to maintain communication with the KOA and all relevant bodies, with the aim of contributing constructively to the final resolution of this matter.”
