Yiannis Konstantelias and Konstantinos Karetsas have already begun to embrace their new reality in Dortmund jerseys, and the Bundesliga’s official TikTok account shared with the publica characteristic snapshot from their first days in Germany.
Shortly before taking the field at the imposing Signal Iduna Park for the German Super Cup against Bayern, the 19-year-old wanted to prepare his former PAOK attacking midfielder for the atmosphere he was about to encounter.
Konstantelias, seeing his new “home” up close for the first time, couldn’t hide his excitement and turned to Karetsas, saying, “I’m not ready for this.”
Karetsa’s response was immediate: “You are, you are,” in a delightful exchange between Dortmund’s two new signings.
Konstantelias then got his first taste of competitive action at Signal Iduna Park, coming on as a substitute in the second half against Bayern, while Karetsas had already played at that stadium in the friendly against Roma.
