Key points:
On tonight’s match against Brann: “I believe the team has prepared seriously. Brann will come out attacking from the very first minute. Apollon needs to play a good game. Our chances of advancing are 50-50. But we have the fans’ support. We’ll approach the game with a clean slate. They’re a team that’s had success in recent years; you can’t write them off based on a single loss at their home stadium. We hope everything comes together smoothly for us to advance.”
Regarding the fans: “We’re close to a sellout across all three stands. Online presales are still ongoing, and tickets will be available at the stadium. A big thank you. We’ve never asked for financial help; we’re asking for support at the stadium. After many years, Apollon’s fans are helping the club as well.
If necessary, the north stand will also be opened: The fans believe in this team, regardless of the match’s outcome. We believe we can compete for both titles. We have both depth and quality.”
On team news: “Assunção and Konomis trained normally. Overall, we have no issues. Thomas had a cold but is fine now. Asoro can be registered if we qualify; his signing took a long time. Ugbo is fully ready.”
On the fact that the team has only won games without conceding a goal: “We’re not thinking about statistics; we’re only focused on qualifying for the playoffs.”
On transfers: “They’re done; we’re making an effort to sign African players from List B.”
