Thomas Walkup won the Stoiximan GBL award for Best Defensive Player for the 2025–26 season.

The Texan guard for Olympiacos had also won the same award in 2022 and 2023, while in 2024 he was named the EuroLeague’s best defender, in the BCL in 2018, and has won the Best Defensive Player award three times in Lithuania and once in Germany.
