Babis Kostoulas was in top form during Brighton’s match against Coventry (5-0). The international forward, after first opening the scoring in Brighton’s away match against the newly promoted team in the 36th minute with a spectacular goal—dodging two players and finishing with a diagonal shot, also provided an assist by winning a penalty.
After the match, Kostoulas sent a message about what lies ahead. The 19-year-old forward, as he himself emphasized, is determined to take advantage of every opportunity he’s given and to continue earning playing time with Brighton.
“I want to keep going like this, working hard and staying positive. It’s my job; it’s an opportunity for me. More minutes, more games—so I have to give my best every day. I believe in myself, and I believe I can really help the team. “Things are going well, and they can go much better if we keep doing what we need to do,” he emphasized after the match against Coventry.
