Mark Koukoureya sang his much-discussed song once again. During Spain’s World Cup victory celebrations, the 27-year-old defender once again drew attention to himself.
Just as he had done two years ago during the celebrations for winning Euro 2024. The former Chelsea star, who recently transferred to Real Madrid, once again grabbed the microphone.
To sing along with the crowd:
“Cucu-Cucurella, eats a paella
Cucu-Cucurella, drinks an Estrella
Cucu-Cucurella, eats a paella
Cucu-Cucurella, drinks an Estrella
Haaland, tremble—Cucurella is coming.”
The translation into Greek:
“Cucu-Cucurella, eats a paella
Cucu-Cucurella, drinks an Estrella
Haaland, tremble, because Cucurella is coming.”
Two years ago, this move by Cucurella sparked a variety of comments, while Haaland made no secret of his displeasure.
“Koukourela is a funny guy. Last season he asked for my jersey… and this summer he’s singing this song about me,” the Manchester City forward had said.
