APOEL’s Beach Handball team concluded its participation in the Limassol EBT with a resounding success.

The “blue-and-yellows” stood out at the tournament, with the women’s team finishing in first place undefeated, while the men’s team reached the final, where they fell short in the shootout.

The women’s team’s success takes on even greater significance, as the valuable points they earned bring them closer to qualifying for next year’s EBT Finals and joining the top 16 teams in Europe.

The next stop for APOEL’s Beach Handball team, provided everything goes according to plan, will be the EBT tournament in Bielsko, Poland, this coming August.

The Nicosia team’s announcement:

“APOEL Beach Handball’s participation in the EBT in Limassol, organized by the Cyprus Beach Handball Series under the auspices of the Cyprus Handball Federation, was a resounding success!

Our team proved its superiority, leaving its mark on the tournament:

Women – 1st Place: Our women’s team claimed the top spot without losing a single set, showing true champion spirit!

Men – 2nd Place: Our men’s team made it all the way to the grand final, where, after a thrilling match, they were narrowly defeated 2-1 in the shootout.

The big goal in Europe!
This first-place finish brings our women’s team even closer to its big dream: qualifying for next year’s EBT Finals, as these points will help the team join the elite club of Europe’s top 16 teams!

Next Stop: Poland!
We’re not stopping here. If everything goes according to plan, our next big goal is the EBT in Bielsko, Poland, this coming August.
