The French Ligue 1 season kicks off!
The top division of French soccer for the 2026–2027 season kicks off Friday night in Marseille at the “Vélodrome,” where Marseille will host Strasbourg, looking to kick off their season with three points.
On Saturday, the action will begin at 6:15 p.m. with a matchup between Super Cup champion Lens, facing off against Auxerre, while at 9:45 p.m., four matches will kick off simultaneously, with Lyon’s away match against Toulouse standing out.
Finally, three matches will be played on Sunday, with Monaco traveling to Le Havre and defending champion Paris Saint-Germain kicking off its title defense by hosting Rennes.
