Ligue 1 enters its fourth matchday, with attention also turning to teams that stand in Olympiacos’s way in the Europa League.
The action kicks off with Rennes hosting Marseille in a particularly intriguing matchup, as these are the two opponents the “Red-and-Whites” in the group stage of the European competition. Rennes has gotten off to a strong start this season, with seven points in the first three matchdays, while Marseille has earned three points, coming off two consecutive losses.

The match between Paris FC and Lyon is also of particular interest, as the home team has made an impressive start. The Parisian team already has two wins and one draw to its credit and is coming off a big 3-2 road win at Marseille.
Another highly anticipated matchup is the one between Paris Saint-Germain and Brest. Luis Enrique’s team is looking for its first league win after a disappointing start, as it sits in 14th place with just two points. Nevertheless, in their midweek match for the first round of the Champions League group stage, they crushed the weak Slovan Bratislava 6-1 and are heading to Brest in high spirits.
