Facundo Pelistri's agent, Edgardo Lasalvia, said he is looking for a team for the Uruguayan winger, but if he doesn’t find one, he’ll have no problem staying with Panathinaikos.
“We’re looking for an opportunity for him to change teams, but if not, we’ll stay in Greece without any problem,” he said in an interview with Uruguay’s Sport 890.
It’s worth noting that the 24-year-old star is under contract through 2028.
At the same time, Pelistri’s agent noted that his client didn’t get the playing time he’d hoped for at the World Cup, spending the entire tournament on the bench. “I thought what they did to him on the national team was disrespectful. After everything he did throughout the process, he didn’t deserve to go to the World Cup and never set foot on the field,” he said.
