Konstantinos Tzolakis has made an impressive start in the Premier League with Hull City, having already made his mark in the first few games of the season. He also proved this in the matches with the Greek national team in the Nations League.
The international goalkeeper’s remarkable run with the “blue-and-whites” and Hull in the Premier League did not go unnoticed, with the Spanish newspaper “Marca” dedicating an extensive article to the international goalkeeper under the headline: “Tzolakis, an Adonis between the posts in the Premier League, sculpted by Mendilibar.”

The Spanish outlet highlights his outstanding performances, his decisive contribution to the “blue-and-whites’” in the Nations League, as well as his development since his transfer from Olympiacos, while also featuring the assessment of Hull City coach, Sergei Jakirović, who believes his value could reach as high as 60, 70, or 80 million euros.
His statistics from the first five matches reflect his effectiveness. Although Hull allows its opponents to move the ball around with great ease, the former Olympiacos goalkeeper has conceded just four goals, while opponents have created chances equivalent to six expected goals.
At the same time, he ranks fourth in saves with a total of 17, including 13 saves on shots from inside the box. He is also second in successful clearances, with six, and shares first place in clean sheets, with three, alongside Bart Verbruggen. In his most recent appearance, against Newcastle at St. James’ Park, Zolakis saved a penalty kick by Yoan Wissa, though he was unable to prevent Hull’s first loss in this season’s Premier League.
According to reports in England, Tzolakis is now a target for several clubs. One of them is Liverpool. The “Reds” are reportedly considering the international goalkeeper, whom they view as an “Alisson alternative” for the net. The “Reds” are closely monitoring the 23-year-old Hull City goalkeeper, who has managed to turn heads with his performances in the English Premier League.
Hull, for its part, considers Tzolakis a key part of its effort to remain in the Premier League and has no intention of making things easy for a potential suitor. His performances, however, have already significantly boosted his stock, and his name is beginning to be mentioned at the highest levels of English soccer.
