Morocco faces Haiti in Atlanta (1:00 a.m.) in the final match of Group C at the World Cup.

The match is of one-sided interest, as AEK’s Frangi Piero and his teammates became the first team to be eliminated from the World Cup with two losses in two games. However, the American team is motivated not to end its World Cup campaign with nothing but losses for the second time in its history, as happened in 1974. Pierre is definitely out, and Nazon is most likely out for Haiti.

Morocco, with four points, needs a win to secure qualification and, at the same time, a sufficient goal differential to more than make up for the -2 against the “Seleção” in the overall goal difference, giving them the edge in a potential tiebreaker. Ayoub El Kaabi could also help in this effort, with the Olympiacos forward waiting for his chance.
