Arsenal extended its winning streak and remained at the top of the Premier League!
On Saturday night (9/12), the English champions put on a solid performance, defeating Sunderland 2-0 at the “Stadium of Light” in the league’s fourth matchday, making it 4-for-4 to start this season!
With Christos Tzolis starting yet another match in the “Gunners’” starting lineup, Mikel Arteta’s team secured the three points thanks to a stunning “thunderbolt” from Bruno Guimaraes in the 58th minute, with Saka converting a penalty in stoppage time (90+7′) to seal the final score.
However, the home team could have done some damage to Arsenal earlier in the match, when in the 56th minute, Le Fê was beaten from the penalty spot by Raya, who made several impressive saves throughout the match.
