Olympiacos will have to overcome Nijmegen in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, with José Luis Medilibar speaking to the media after the draw for the “Red-and-Whites,” emphasizing that the Dutch team will be a very difficult opponent for the Piraeus side.
“Nijmegen is a Dutch team that has had one of the best seasons in its history. They finished third in their league ahead of Ajax, had a very good cup run, and will certainly be a very tough opponent.
But it’s true that we’re here in the Netherlands too, and we’ve played against Dutch teams. This weekend we’ll face two more opponents.
We’ll have gotten somewhat used to playing against similar teams,” Medilibar said regarding the draw.
