Olympiacos wasn't the only team interested in signing Mateusz Musialowski during the transfer window.
According to the Polish outlet “Weszlo,” Wisła Płock also tried to sign the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, but he did not want to return to Poland and rejected the offer.
Musialowski has been outside Poland since 2018, when he left Ajax Częstochowa for England. There, he played in Liverpool’s youth academy before continuing his career at Omonia.
The Polish player is in his third season with the “Greens,” but so far he hasn’t seen much playing time and does not appear to be part of Henning Berg’s starting lineup plans.
