Despite the 4-0 victory over Westerlo in their second preseason friendly, there is no complacency at PAOK. On the contrary, Alessio Lissi sent a clear message that the team needs immediate reinforcements in order to be ready for the first official matches of the new season.
The Italian coach focused more on the team’s overall performance and the progress it has shown during preseason training, refraining from celebrating the lopsided score. At the same time, he praised Yiannis Konstantelias, explained why he constantly takes notes during matches, and emphasized that he has complete confidence in the club’s administration and sporting management regarding the strengthening of the roster.
However, he was clear regarding transfers, emphasizing that PAOK needs new players as soon as possible so they will be available for the first official games of the season.
