The 30-year-old soccer player is no stranger to the Nicosia team, as he previously wore their jersey during the second half of the 2019-20 on loan from Midtjylland.
The Nigerian is considered the top choice for the attacking wings and is already on the island to undergo the necessary medical exams and sign his contract.
Akinola has been with Hull for a year, playing a key role in their promotion to the Premier League. With the “Tigers,” he made 20 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the Championship, while this season he played once in the EFL Cup.
