It was just a dream for AEL—and now it’s over!

According to reports from Italy, veteran winger Lorenzo Insigne will not be playing for the “Lions” but will continue to play in his home country.

Specifically, Insigne is headed to Sampdoria, with both sides ironing out the final details to finalize the deal.

In fact, his medical exams are already scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday (July 8), with the 35-year-old remaining a resident of Italy, trying his luck with one of the country’s most historic clubs, which competes in Serie B.
