Nikola Milutinov stated in an interview with Nova that he was completely unaware of any rumors regarding his efforts to obtain a Greek passport. The Serbian center for Olympiacos made it clear that he has not received any offers regarding this matter, but left open the possibility should such an issue come up in the future.
“To tell you the truth, I read about it in the Greek media myself. No one has ever approached me to discuss a Greek passport. I don’t know the situation; the media often say a lot of things—that’s their job—whether it’s true or not. I don’t pay much attention to that, and I’m not the type to go on social media to say what’s true and what isn’t. I don’t care what people say, whether it’s right or not. I let people decide for themselves what’s right and what isn’t. I know what’s going on. If that discussion comes up someday, we’ll see. But right now, no one from Greek basketball has approached me about it, so I don’t know what the situation is. “Right now, I’m focusing on myself and the team so that I’ll be ready for the new season,” Milutinov emphasized.
