Monaco’s financial problems are putting its participation in the upcoming French league season in doubt, according to a French media report.
Specifically, the National Audit and Management Office is not allowing the club to participate in the 2026–27 season, as there are no guarantees regarding the club’s financial viability.
Nevertheless, the Monegasques have filed an appeal, which will be heard on July 20, while a new hearing is scheduled for the 10th of the month at the Court of First Instance in Monaco.
According to French sources, the president of the Monegasques, Alexei Fedorichev, does not have access to his assets due to the war between Ukraine and Russia and is reported to have already withdrawn from all of his previous investments, which totaled 100 million euros.

The DNCCG has rejected AS Monaco!
Due to a lack of sufficient financial guarantees, the French champion cannot register for #BetclicÉLITE for the 2026–27 season.
The Roca Team has, of course, filed an appeal… but time is running out
