Marc Márquez won the fourth Japanese Grand Prix of his career, completing the “double” (victory in both the sprint and the main race) at the Motegi circuit in Japan. The Spanish Ducati rider secured his sixth victory by finishing ahead of Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi, and is now just two points behind the championship leader.
Martín, who started from pole position, managed to maintain his lead at the start and appeared to be in control during the first eight laps, while Márquez waited for the right moment to attack. That opportunity presented itself on the 11th lap, when Martín left very little room on the inside line, a gap that Márquez exploited, passing him and crossing the finish line first.

There are six races remaining in the championship, and the next one is in Indonesia next Sunday.
