He also came in first in the public vote, garnering 22.16% (448 votes), with Vezhenkov following with 18.52% (375).
Fournier played in 22 games in the Greek league, averaging 12.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, shooting 60.8% on two-pointers, 40.8% on three-pointers, and 82.7% on free throws.
After receiving his award, Fournier thanked those who voted for him, making it clear that he puts the team above all else. “I truly appreciate this honor. I came to Olympiacos to compete at the highest level and to win. That has been my goal from day one, and it hasn’t changed. The MVP award is a wonderful recognition, but it doesn’t change the way I think. I will always put the team above all else,” he said.
