Anorthosis’s partnership with Freedom24 and the Freedom QJ League is entering a new phase, with a focus on the further development of the club’s Academy.
The recent visit by a delegation from the Freedom QJ League to Cyprus served as the starting point for the design of a comprehensive development plan, which will leverage modern technologies, football analytics, international expertise, and new training methods.

At the same time, special emphasis is placed on creating more international competitive experiences for the youth teams, with the goal of developing young players and strengthening the pathway from the Academy to the first team.

“Anorthosis Famagusta, Freedom24, and the Freedom QJ League are moving forward with the development of a comprehensive Academy development program, with an emphasis on international expertise, modern technologies, football analytics, and the creation of new competitive experiences for young soccer players.
The recent visit to Cyprus by the President of the Freedom QJ League, Rokhus Shokh, and the organization’s delegation marked the transition of Anorthosis’ strategic partnership with Freedom24 to the next, practical stage.
As part of the visit, working meetings were held with the club’s administration, the Academy’s management, and the coaching staff. The model for developing young soccer players implemented by the Freedom QJ League in Kazakhstan was presented, along with practices related to the use of technology and data, player evaluation, and their international competitive exposure.
The three parties agreed to immediately proceed with drafting a specific plan, which is expected to be finalized within the coming week.
The fundamental principle of the plan is to leverage and adapt international best practices to the needs, philosophy, and soccer identity of Anorthosis.
The program will focus on specific areas: the use of advanced video and data analytics systems, the introduction of modern digital tools for the coaching staff, the continuous transfer of expertise and training for coaches, as well as the creation of more opportunities for international participation for the youth teams.
Particular emphasis is placed on providing young soccer players with international competitive experience, through participation in tournaments and initiatives that will enable them to compete against the academies of major European and international soccer clubs.
The competitive goal is clear: to create a modern and comprehensive development environment, which will substantially enhance the development of young soccer players and create a stronger pathway from the Academy to professional soccer and, most importantly, to Anorthosis’s first team.
