The election process in the Stoiximan Super League failed to elect a president for the second time.
According to reports, Yiannis Alafouzos and Vangelis Marinakis were tied again, each receiving 7 votes. As a result, no new president was elected for the League this time either.
The political dynamics remained unchanged from the previous vote. Yiannis Alafouzos’s candidacy was supported by the professional soccer clubs Panathinaikos, AEK, PAOK, Heraklis, Kifissia, Levadiakos, and Panetolikos. Similarly, the candidacy of Vangelis Marinakis was supported by the professional soccer clubs Olympiacos, Aris, OFI, Atromitos, Kalamata, Volos, and Asteras AKTOR.
For its part, the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) once again cast a blank vote, as it apparently did not wish to influence the outcome of the election process.
