Another injury setback for Panathinaikos. Juancho Hernangómez underwent tests this morning that revealed he has suffered a muscle spasm in the adductor of his right leg.
As clarified by the club, the Spanish player immediately began treatment, and his condition is being reevaluated daily.
Given these circumstances, it is clear that the chances of him being able to help the Greens in their two EuroLeague games against Villeurbanne and Maccabi are slim, with the first game scheduled for Wednesday and the second for Friday.
The Spaniard felt discomfort during yesterday’s game against PAOK, which prevented him from continuing.
This problem adds to an already long list of injured players on the Panathinaikos roster. As a reminder, Zeljko Obradovic has been unable to count on Nan, Hayes-Davis, Sloukas, and Fall, while Rogavopoulos played for the first time yesterday since his injury, clearly appearing unprepared.
