On Friday afternoon (July 3), Al-Nassr made the agreement official, with the 60-year-old coach replacing Jorge Jesus as head coach of the Riyadh-based club, just a few weeks after winning the Saudi Pro League title.
The last time Postecoglou was on the bench was nine months ago, when he had a very brief stint at the helm of Nottingham Forest.
