Villarreal retook the lead in the 76th minute on an own goal by Traoré, but just 3 minutes later (79′) Emabatsuri came on to equalize again, while Aubameyang capitalized on a major defensive error by the home team in the 88th minute to seal the final score at 2-3!
As a result, Villarreal remains winless in its first four games of this season’s La Liga, while Deportivo remains undefeated, with two wins and two draws.
Equally thrilling was the earlier match between Rayo Vallecano and Racing Santander!
Canales opened the scoring for Racing in the 4th minute, and Raciu equalized in the 17th minute, with García putting the visitors back in front in the 28th minute, before Camejo came on to tie the score at 2–2, before the first half had even ended (43')! In fact, it was Camejo who secured the victory for Rayo with his second goal of the match in the 47th minute!
