A perfect finale with a top-of-the-table showdown in Group 9 of this year’s World Cup!
Norway and France face off tonight (10:00 p.m.) in Boston for the third and final match of their group, vying for the top spot—since both teams have already qualified for the round of 32— having won both of their matches against Senegal and Iraq.
It’s worth noting that the team that finishes first in the group will face one of the third-place finishers in the next round, while the runner-up will face the team that finishes second in the group containing Germany, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, and Curaçao.
On the one hand, Norway celebrated its long-awaited return to the World Cup with a resounding 4-1 victory; although Iran equalized, it ultimately secured an easy 4-1 victory, and in its second match, it defeated Senegal 3-2, securing its spot in the next round!
As expected, the team’s star player is Erling Haaland, who has already scored several goals and is leading his team’s offense
