The chairman of the Referees’ Committee, Antonio Damato, called on all participants to work hard to improve their performance at today’s (August 19) opening of the seminar.
“These three days of the summer seminar will be very helpful in improving our preparation ahead of the start of the new soccer season.

We are fully aware of the importance of our role, and we will do our best to improve our performance and ensure the highest level of professionalism,” said the Italian at the start of the three-day seminar.
Participants in the seminar include International Referees and Assistant Referees, Category A Referees and Assistant Referees, female international referees and assistant referees, Category A refereeing observers, as well as VAR and AVAR specialists.
