Ousmane Dembélé weighed in on who will take home this year's Golden Ball award!
The Paris Saint-Germain star, who was voted the top soccer player for 2025, gave an interview to “France Football” and shared his predictions for this year, expressing his belief that the award will remain with a player from his team while also singling out Kane, Mbappé, and Yamal.
“I don’t think there’s any question about this award. I think it will go to a Paris Saint-Germain player. The three I have in mind are Kvaratskhelia, Kane—who had a very, very good season—and I think Kylian Mbappé. Me? No, I never put myself in that position. I never vote for myself. If I’m the one speaking, I don’t vote for myself. Besides, there are plenty of others. Michael Olise could win the award—he had an incredible season. He was the best player in the Bundesliga. Lamine Yamal, too. Fabian Ruiz, Pacho… We tend to forget about Pacho. I hope we don’t forget him this year, because he deserves it,” the French star said, among other things.
