It didn’t take long for Konstantinos Tzolakis to make his mark at Hull, as the Greek national team goalkeeper made a dream debut with the “Tigers” in the Premier League opener against Manchester United.
The curtain rose on this year’s season in the world’s top league, the English Premier League, began with a… tragic match for the “Red Devils,” who lost 2-0 to the newly promoted side and got off to the worst possible start to the new season.

Michael Carrick’s team was not at all sharp offensively, as they struggled noticeably to threaten Tzolakis’s goal. And whenever they finally did manage to do so, the former Olympiacos goalkeeper made exemplary saves, keeping a clean sheet and playing a decisive role in his team’s impressive victory.
