Leon Bailey is officially joining Olympiacos!
The Red-and-Whites announced the major signing of the Jamaican winger, who will play for the club for the next four years, significantly bolstering José Luis Mendilibar’s roster.
In fact, Leon Bailey, via the club’s social media channels, sent his own message to the Olympiacos fans: “Hello, Olympiacos fans. I’m Leon Bailey; I’m very happy to be wearing the red and white, and I can’t wait to experience the atmosphere at Karaiskakis Stadium. See you soon.”

Olympiacos FC announces the signing of Jamaican winger Leon Bailey.
Born on August 9, 1997, in Kingston, he was signed from Aston Villa, for whom he made 163 appearances (23 goals and 25 assists) and won the 2025–2026 UEFA Europa League.
The Jamaican international has previously played for Roma (11 appearances), Leverkusen (156 appearances, 39 goals, 25 assists), and Genk (77 appearances, 15 goals, and 19 assists).
He has made 123 appearances in the Premier League, 119 in the Bundesliga, 44 in the Jupiler Pro League, 35 in the Europa League, 13 in the Champions League, and seven in Serie A.
He has earned 41 caps for his country’s national team and has scored 11 goals.
