Yiannis Gianniotas will remain with Aris.

The 33-year-old star signed his new contract, and the Yellow-and-Blacks announced the agreement, which will run through the summer of 2027.

“Aris FC announces the renewal of its partnership with Giannis Gianniotas. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder (born on April 29, 1993, in Neochori, Chalkidiki) signed his new contract today, which runs through the summer of 2027.
During the 2025–2026 season, Giannis Gianniotas made 28 appearances, recorded 5 assists, and scored 1 goal across all competitions (league, Cup, and UEFA Conference League qualifiers),” the announcement states.

In his first comments after signing the contract, he said:

“I’m happy to renew my contract with ARIS for another year. This is my home, and this is where I want to hang up my jersey. I’m eagerly looking forward to the start of preseason training. I am well aware of our obligations for the new season.
Last year left us with a bitter memory, and we must all take responsibility together and make amends in the new league.
No further words are needed. We ask the fans to support us, as they always do, and we will reward them.”
